I enjoyed this article! I took my first trip to Denver for a work meeting not too long ago, and I really enjoyed my time there! I spent most of the time in meeting sessions, but stayed an extra day to explore. Already looking forward to going back! Definitely agree about the friendliness in Denver.

Mike, I appreciate your article. My wife and I live in Omaha and we are actively thinking of a weekend trip to Colorado. This was a great primer for us and I look forward to more!

Denver is a good starting point for the rest of the Rockies. I did a tour of Pikes Peak and it was awesome and incredibly memorable.

Pikes Peak is next up on my Colorado bucket list, hows the accommodations out there?

I did a day tour from Denver, and it was awesome. If you wanted to stay closer, Colorado Springs is 2 hours south of Denver but to be honest, the day trip tour is all you need
